I am Bola Akinyemi, the Operations Director at Precious Kids Day Nursery Limited. I am a qualified Early Years Teacher and have over ten years professional experience of working with children of all ages. I am the Designated Safeguarding Officer, having trained in safeguarding; Working with babies; Enabling Environment; Behaviour Management; Paediatric First Aid; Improving Teaching & Learning; Food Hygiene etc.

I have been working in the childcare sector since 2009. I do understand that parents want quality and safe childcare setting to look after their children. In my line of work, I realise how emotional it gets when leaving little ones with people we just have to trust. I have have been in that position with my five children and I have been able to calm parents down and reassure them that all will be well.

I count it a great privilege and honour to be entrusted with other peoples’ children which is never to be taken for granted. My understanding, passion and commitment to children and families brought about the opening of Precious Kids Childcare Ltd nursery in Manchester.

 

Before embarking on Childcare I have had a degree in Food Science and Technology. I also have a Masters Degree in Food Quality Management from The University of Salford in England.

 

As the Lead Practitioner at Precious Kids Childcare Ltd, I am supported by an enviable team of fantastic Manager, Deputy Managers and lovely staff who have grown accustomed to my passion for children over the years and have been fascinated by the same.

 

My ultimate goal is to set up outstanding nurseries that will build a solid early years foundation for Greater Manchester children especially in the disadvantaged areas of Manchester and to offer them the best care and education. I enjoy meeting with parents and building strong working relationships and partnership with them. I am passionate about meeting their expectations and achieving positive outcomes for their children.
