Precious Kids Day Nursery presents a beautifully well-equipped rooms for children aged 0 month to 5 years that provides an optimum arena for care and education.

The Nursery has 7 individually decorated rooms set aside for the use of the children. Each of these resources loaded rooms allows the children to explore, discover, boost their interests, and expand their understanding and knowledge and hence become more skilful.

Children are given the freedom to explore the nursery at their own pace. Group focused learning activities are planned daily. The Nursery always make resources available to children. This gives the children the freedom to revisit the resources and perfect individual skill.

The Nursery has a dedicated room for after school club.

  • What age groups do you accept?
    We welcome children aged 0 to 11 years. Each age group is assigned to a specially designed room that is tailored to their developmental needs.
  • What are the hours of operation?
    Our nursery operates from 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. We also offer extended hours for early drop-off or late pick-up if needed.
  • How do you ensure the safety of the children?
    We have strict security protocols in place, including secure entry systems, regular staff training on child safety, and daily safety checks. All staff members are DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checked and trained in first aid.
  • Do you have a curriculum?
    Yes, we follow an age-appropriate curriculum that promotes early childhood development through play-based learning, creative activities, outdoor play, and social interaction. Our curriculum is designed to support children's cognitive, physical, and emotional growth.
  • Are meals provided?
    Yes, we provide nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day, including breakfast, lunch, and tea. If your child has any dietary requirements or allergies, please inform us in advance.
  • How do you handle illness?
    If your child is unwell, we ask that they stay at home to recover. If your child becomes ill during the day, we will contact you immediately. We follow strict hygiene protocols to prevent the spread of illness.
  • What should my child bring to the nursery?
    Please bring a change of clothes, nappies (if applicable), a comfort item (e.g., a blanket or soft toy), and any medication your child may need. We recommend labeling personal items to avoid confusion.
  • What is the enrollment process?
    To enroll your child, please fill out our online registration form and schedule a visit. We’ll discuss your child’s needs, your preferences, and confirm availability. A deposit may be required to secure your child’s place.
  • Can parents visit the nursery?
    Yes! We encourage parents to visit and tour our nursery before enrolling their child. We also host regular parent-teacher meetings and events to keep you involved in your child’s development.
  • Do you offer part-time or flexible hours?

  • Do you offer extracurricular activities?

    We understand that children may experience separation anxiety, especially in the early days. Our experienced staff will work with your child to provide comfort, establish a routine, and help them settle in. You are always welcome to discuss any concerns with us.

    We are looking for a Nursery Deputy Manager to join Precious Kids Childcare Ltd. Our Head Office is 322 Moston, M40 9WB Manchester.

    Precious Kids Childcare Ltd provides the highest standard of nursery care and education within a unique environment in which children are actively encouraged to explore, learn and interact with others.

    This role would suit a highly motivated, organised, enthusiastic and creative person. A natural leader that possesses excellent time management and people skills with the ability to lead your team using your existing skills, experience, and passion for learning.


    Successful candidates will need to have level 3 or above in Childcare and will have experience of working as a Deputy Manager or Senior Practitioner within a nursery management team.

    If you are a people person, friendly, approachable and organised with an excellent knowledge of the EYFS then we would love to hear from you.

    The role involves working opposite shifts to that of the Nursery Manager so you will be responsible for either the opening and/or closing of the nursery. You will also be room based providing you with an overview of the nursery floor. You also need to be confident in directing staff and attending to parents.

    The salary will be dependent on experience and is open to negotiation.

     

    Role Purpose

    · To support the Nursery Manager to ensure the effective daily management of the Nursery, to have a sound knowledge of all Company Policies, Procedures, Statutory Welfare Requirements and Ofsted expectations and ensure that these are maintained at all times.

    · To be a role model to the staff team. Be able to showcase high quality practice with regards to individual and group work with children, dealing with staff and parent issues as they arise.

    · To support and actively promote the safety, security and well-being of all children, staff and visitors at all times.

    · Act as a Designated Safeguarding Person in the absence of the DSL within the setting and dealing with and support any issues as they arise.

    · To work alongside the Nursery Manager to lead the nursery to reach an Outstanding grading with Ofsted.

    We are looking for levels 3; 4; 5 & 6 qualified nursery practitioners to join our nurseries in Moston and Middleton. We also have vacancies for Room Leaders at both nurseries too.

    If you love working with children and have a level 3; 4; 5 or 6   childcare qualification then we would love to hear from you! If you have experience of working in early years and good understanding of the EYFS then that's even better!

    Job Summary

    1 To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the settings.
